~NEED A RIDE? BeST Transit has General Public Fixed Routes and Shared Rides in Tioga, Bradford and Sullivan Counties. Fixed Route service is open to everyone! Children 5 years and under ride free and must be accompanied by an adult. Senior citizens, ages 65 and older, who are registered in our Senior Transit program, also ride free with their ID card. (Call (272) 424-4044 to get signed up!) “Shared Ride” means that the service is open to the public, if you qualify for one of the programs, but is not a taxi service. The Shared Ride service will pick you up at your door and transport you to your destination. Main St, Knoxville, PA (814-326-1811).  Meadowlark Counseling Services is a fully licensed Addiction Counseling facility in PA offering drug and alcohol counseling and assessment for teens, adults, and their loved ones to overcome challenges with substance use and addiction.

~April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month!  The goal of this national campaign is to remind drivers the dangers

of distracted driving and to decrease the traffic crashes, fatalities, and injuries.  Distractions are everywhere.

~Drug Take Back Day is April 26, 2025 at 10 am

The drug overdose epidemic in the United States is a clear and present public health, public safety, and national security threat. DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day reflects DEA’s commitment to Americans’ safety and health, encouraging the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes as a measure of preventing medication misuse and opioid addiction from ever starting.
